The story behind the collection
Pillars of life
Every life is held up by someone. A mother, a grandmother, a partner. A friend who stays close even when leaving would be easier. We call them pillars, the people who keep us steady when everything else feels uncertain.
“Pillars of Life was born from a simple, yet deeply personal idea: none of us stand alone. We are surrounded by people who carry us, and by people we carry in return.”
For designer Alexandra Hirschfeld, the idea took shape through her own family, across four generations of women.
“Becoming a mother gave me a new understanding of what it truly means to be someone’s foundation. It was not until I had my own daughter that I could fully understand the depth of my mother’s love, and the role she has always played as a pillar in my life. Just like my grandmother, who at 93 is still the steady core our family leans on.”
Some kinds of support are never loud, and some kinds of love are never fully spoken. This collection was made for them. It is about presence, about the hand that finds yours without being asked, and the strength passed quietly from one generation to the next. That is why it felt natural that the collection would be worn by Alexandra’s closest friend and her daughter, two of the pillars in her own life.

Each piece takes its form from classical architecture. The column was built for a single purpose: to hold weight, and to hold it well. Pavé diamonds frame the structure, but nothing is decorative for its own sake. Every detail carries the same idea forward.
To give a piece from this collection is to make a promise. Not of perfection, but of presence. It is a reminder that someone believes in you and stands beside you, and carries part of the weight when it becomes too much to bear alone.
“This collection is a reminder to cherish the people who carry us, and to celebrate the privilege of being that person for someone else.”
This is for the ones who hold and the ones who are held, and for the unspoken bond between them.
Moments to memories.
