Standard assortment
18K Yellow gold, white gold, rosé gold. Our karat content is 18K per standard, although we also offer 14K. Karat, or K for short, reflects the amount of pure gold from which the metal is made. The higher the karat, the more precious the metal. We believe that 18K is the ideal karat content as it perfectly balances exclusivity with durability. We offer yellow gold, white gold, and rose gold as a part of this offer.
950 Platinum
The innovative platinum metal is almost identical in appearance to white gold but significantly more durable. It is both robust and does not require regular rhodium plating. When choosing a white metal, we recommend platinum.
Unique metals
Fairtrade gold Our products can be cast in Fairtrade gold, and we recommend this. Choosing Fairtrade gold increases the standard for those working in the mines and is also a sustainable way to work. It is a secure chain for producing our Fairtrade gold, and our production has its mining where the Fairtrade gold is mined.
Red gold
Red gold, with its captivating blend of warmth and romance, adds a touch of luxury to any jewelry piece. The metal blend is unique to a few European countries, such as Sweden.

VANBRUUN offers both 14K and 18K gold options to cater to diverse preferences and budgets. While 14K gold is a more affordable option, VANBRUUN prefers 18K gold for its higher purity, which ensures superior quality and durability in its jewelry pieces.

In spring 2022, we developed a VANBRUUN hallmark, a tiny signature that decorates the lining of our rings. The VB stamp is not only for identification; it allows us to be a small part of our customers' unique stories.
Stamp for the metal - 18K, 750 and 950
Our rings in yellow gold, white gold, and rose gold are 18K. This means that the amount of gold used in the alloy is 18 karat, also known as 750 thousandths pure gold. The term may vary depending on where your ring is made. Our platinum rings have a hallmark that identifies as a 950. The number refers to the amount of pure platinum used in the alloy. The number 950 means that the metal is 95% platinum.
Kattfot or anchor
The Swedish kattfot, which identifies as three crowns, is a traditional Swedish hallmark that guarantees authenticity. The hallmark has been around for centuries and is still commonly found in jewelry produced in Sweden. Some of our assortment is made in Sweden, meaning some pieces carry the hallmark. Most of our rings have the local Birmingham hallmark, illustrating an anchor. This is because we produce the majority of our rings in Birmingham.
